In chamula the have sheep in 3 unique breeds: White/black, grey and reddish brown.The Sheep are double coated and often have 2 sets of horns. The undercoat is spun into fine strong warp yarns, while the coarse long undercoat is used for weft. (Maya Threads, A woven History of Chiapas)
